ECZ WILL FOLLOW KEY PROCESSES AS IT PREPARES FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS
Elections are never a single day’s event. There are various processes within a five (5) year electoral cycle that are integral prior to the day of voting.

PARLIAMENTARY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT BY-ELECTIONS FOR SESHEKE CONSTITUENCY AND SEVEN (7) LOCAL GOVERNMENT WARDS
Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Tuesday, 12th February, 2019 as the date on which to hold the Parliamentary By-election in Sesheke Constituency of Sesheke District. On the same date, the Commission will also conduct Seven (7) Local Government By-elections in Anoya Zulu Ward of Chililabombwe District, Munyama Ward of Kabwe District, Mkomba Ward of Lundazi District, Chindwale Ward of Katete District, Chinkutila Ward of Chifunabuli District, Nkombwa Ward of Isoka District and Sewe Mungole Ward of Chavuma District.

Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Poll Staff trained to undertake electoral duty in the 20th November, 2018 election for Council Chairperson in Lupososhi District have been subjected to the ‘Assessment on the Forms’ Aptitude Test on 17th November, 2018 at Luwingu Secondary School bringing a close to the training of Poll Staff in the District.

Poll Staff Training Starts In Solwezi
The training of Poll Staff in Solwezi started today Saturday, 17 November, 2018. One hundred and fifty (150) Poll Staff are being trained in preparation for the Tumvwanganai Ward by-election scheduled for 20th November, 2018.
